Well, another week of training has gone by. Last Saturday we did our 5-mile group run. It wasn't too terribly bad and Coach Dave even told me that my form looked good! I only had to stop twice to walk, so I feel pretty good about my run.
Unfortunately, my new Nikes don't seem to like my feet. :( I ran in them again last night and it wasn't as bad, but there is still one spot that is prone to blistering. May have to switch back to my old shoes...
Last night's run was ok: we had 3 miles on the schedule and i ran the full 3 miles! However, i felt like i was running with these on my legs:
My legs felt like someone had filled them up with cement before my run, which was not very pleseant. But i kept on trucking and my Nike+iPod sensor told me my pace was 11 minutes/mile, which is pretty good for me!
Another 5 miles this Saturday and next Saturday. My goal: to run the full 5 miles by next Saturday. Wish me luck!
