The last 10 pounds

So i think i have mentioned on here before that I am doing Weight Watchers. I've been doing the online version for a few months now and have dropped 15 pounds. (woo hoo!)

But these last 10 pounds i want to lose? Are being a.total.bitch.

I've been stuck at the same weight (give or take a pound) for about a month now. I know what i need to do - trade in my reduced fat wheat thins for salad, limit Mexican food to once a month, step up my workouts....but for whatever reason, i just can't find the motivation to do it.

Like most women would say, i've struggled with my weight for most of my life. I remember coming home at 10 years old after trying on jeans and bawling in my room because i was fat. And yes, i have had someone ask me before "When are you due?"

Sigh.

So, i guess i just need to suck it up and just do it. I'll soon forget what chips & salsa taste like......right? :P

YOU CAN DO IT!!! Hang that bikini on your bathroom door. Or, you can do what I did, and hang a picture of you in a bikini on your fridge. Definitely curbed my snacking!! LOL!! Or just add a mile to your runs... there's an extra 100 calories burned right there! I will agree that the last 10 suck, but it's so worth it once they're gone!!

it's the worst when they just hang on like that. but you HAVE to lose 'em now that you've posted it online! we'll keep you motivated!

It's so hard for me to give up foods. I have no will power.

Nice work on the 15 pounds! My friends and I were just talking at lunch about how we all know easy changes we could make to drop a few pounds, but they are SO HARD to do. You sound determined though, so you'll get them off!

I am totally in the same boat. I lost some weight but I still need to lose a little more. I know what I need to do, but I just haven't done it yet. Boo.

But be proud of what you have accomplished already! Losing 15 lbs is AWESOME!

Congrats on the 15 pounds you've already lost! I'm doing WW too and have been stuck at 13 pounds down for 6 WEEKS! My turning point was last summer when a fairly new coworker said "I can't believe you finished a half marathon. I never got off the couch when I was pregnant."

Me: "Ummmm...I'm not pregnant."

Awkward...

Yeah, Chips & Salsa and I have a 'special' relationship. So, I can't help you on that one.

But just keep eating right and working out, and before you know it, you'll be down the pounds. (Kinda a good trick: don't look at the scale, just bury it in your closet for a month. Then when you pull it out, maybe your 'magic number' will appear.)

The last 10 pounds are the worst but I know you can do it. You've already lost 15 pounds!! That's awesome :)

oh my goodness, I could not agree more with your post :) Losing weight SUCKS, its so hard and although I lost majority of my weight 10 yrs ago, I'm struggling to lose 15 more lbs and its killer! It just falls off my hubby...why is that?! Ha! HANG IN THERE!!! Love your blog!

Weight Watchers works! Congrats on the 15! That 10 is just waiting for you to work it off. Have you checked out a meeting yet? I had the most success when I attended the meetings. I remember the tips the others shared and used them throughout the week. Good luck! Sadly, I had to quit for financial reasons, but Husband and I still stick to smaller portions and exercise just like WW tells you to :)

Congratulations on losing the 15 pounds! That is awesome. And, I so feel your pain. I've lost 10 since the new year, & it's been very challenging. I've had to watch what I eat much more carefully than I wanted too. I still have 23 pounds to go.
Keep up the great work!

I've been stuck at the same weight for about 4 months now for the same reasons..I don't want to give up my favorite foods and I hate dieting! I still have 35 more to go. ugh.

I have about 10 pounds to loose too. I am honestly not sure if its just I need to tone or loose. I am sure you can do it!
