What is the Warrior Dash, you might ask?
Warrior Dash is a mud-crawling, fire-leaping, extreme run from hell. This fierce running series is held on the most challenging and rugged terrain across the globe. Warriors conquer extreme obstacles, push their limits and celebrate with kick-ass music, beer and warrior helmets.
Ok that description sounds a little scary, but fire-leaping, beer AND a fuzzy warrior helmet?? Hell yeah!
Have any of you ever done the Warrior Dash series? Any ideas for a fun outfit? (Because that's obviously a must.)

This sounds so awesome that even though I am not athletic, in shape, or extreme in any way, shape, or form - I still kind of want to do one someday.
I think you need to wear something a la Toddlers and Tiaras. Just sayin'.
Oh my goodness - you have to jump over fire? That's CRAZY!
I've never done anything like this - but I signed up for the Charlotte Metro Dash in June which is an obstacle course over three miles. I think it's going to be pretty intense and I'm also looking for the perfect outfit! :)
I'm doing the warrior dash in July! I've never done one before but my friends talked me into it. I've definately got some majah training to do and some more el-bees to lose before the race!
I am doing my first Warrior Dash in Louisiana this Saturday! I want to wear a fun outfit, but I don't want to ruin any good clothes! That's bad that I haven't decided yet!

I'm so jealous you are doing this race! I was so close to signing up for the race near me, but I waited too long and the registration was too expensive and no one would do it with me. BOO!

I am so hoping to see you there! I'm planning on doing this race as my return to running, but it all depends on the surgery.
I did a mud run last year. It was super fun. I hear there is a warrior dash in IL in the summer. I'm going to check it out. Can't wait to hear how your race turns out.
I am doing it too, but on the 30th! I conned 2 of my other friends into doing it too!
i think i'm going to do the on in WA with my 14 year old son, seems like a fun mother and son thing to do, right? :)

I ran one last year (and am doing it again this year) and it's SO MUCH FUN.
The key, like the woman in the picture, is to go over the fire (there's always fire) by yourself, and catch lots of air, because they always get awesome pictures there.
My daughter and I are going to run this too (same date)! It's going to be a crazy time. I hope, in a good way!
