Three Things Thursday

1. This has not been a good week for running. Tuesday's 4 miler was cut down to 2.5 due to calf problems again. It's so frustrating, having to hobble along when you know things can be going better. And tonight called for 4 miles....not only is it 111 out, we are in the middle of a huge haboob (dust storm) right now.

2. I'm going to try to fit the miles in tomorrow morning. I am not a morning person. And i don't have the best track record of waking up early on the weekdays. But I'm scared to not get my mileage in. :(

3. My half marathon is 2 & 1/2 months away. I'm having negative doubts about my time goal. I know I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ask....but I'm still worried. UGH. I just need some good weeks with good, consistent runs! Plllleeeeaaassssseeeeeeee....

You can do it! Last night was rough on my legs too. Sometimes I worry that our 1/2 is so soon, but we're doing more than what 90 something percent of the population is doing and that's getting out there and getting moving! You're inspiring and I have complete faith in you!

Don't doubt your time goal. You will nail it! The good runs will come soon to prove it :)

You have got this! Don't let the dust get you down! Wear your goggles, facemask, and bring some Swiffers! I believe in you!

Didn't you have a 6 miler or something that was really good this week? Or was that last week? Or am I totally making that up?

It'll get better, especially once it cools down, and the haboob (haha boob) passes!

I'm feeling iffy about my half in 2 weeks too. Training during the summer time is hard, I don't know if I'll do it again. lol.

The storm yesterday was crazy!

Uh a dust storm? No thanks. You can wake up tomorrow, I have faith! Think about how much better your day will be if you do :)

A dust storm would keep me inside too!

I hope you have a great week of running this week!

It's been a rough week for me too! My coworker said it's okay to miss an entire week...so that makes me feel better...
