1. I skipped my run this morning. Sleep just sounded sooo much better. I feel guilty now, of course. If it's not too hot out, i will try to get a few miles in tonight. And i will get up tomorrow morning!
2. "You're training for a half marathon? You must be losing weight like crazy!" Um, no. No, I'm not. Thanks for reminding me. I know I'm not alone in this run-crazy-miles-yet-drop-zero-weight, but it's still frustrating! I re-signed up for WW online since i obviously have no self control. :P
3. One piece of good news: I'll be in West Palm Beach next week!! I've never been to that part of Florida, so I'm really excited. Not so much excited to get in a swimsuit in public, but c'est la vie. I'm meeting my friend/sorority sister from college & we plan to just sun & relax for 4 blissful days :)

I am one of the many with you on zero weight loss thing, I trained and completed my first full marathon earlier this year and only dropped 2 pounds!
Most people GAIN weight in half/full marathon training, so if you're just hanging steady, you're winning. :)
I'm running my first HM this Sunday and I haven't lost any weight either. I lost tons during my marathon training, but put it all back on this summer, even after I started HM training.
Have fun in Florida! So jealous at this point that vacations are a whole school year away :(

Oh, and yeah - I'm part of the "don't really lose weight while marathon training" club as well - mostly bc I swear I get a tapeworm. I'm ALWAYS hungry!
well just great. I'm training too and I'm hoping to look like brooke burke when its all said and done...no??! Ha!

Yeah, the not losing weight thing used to drive me crazy - then I started measuring myself instead. From the beginning of my last 1/2 marathon training to the end, I only lost 1 pound, but I lost 1-2 inches just about everywhere! Try not to focus too much on the number!
Same here with no weight loss...boo. When is your half? Ours may be close to the same week!
