Phew.

I went for a run last night, finally. Garmin was dead - and I think that worked out in my favor. I didn't care about timing or pace, just running to run.

And it was good.

Phew. So I didn't lose all my training after the bout of sickness. :)

Tomorrow marks one of the most wonderful days of the year: the 25th Annual Tucson Beerfest!! We have been going for the past 4 years and it is an absolute blast. Stay tuned for pictures.

I'm going to do my long run tonight instead of getting up super early tomorrow morning. (Thank you 70 degree temperatures!!!)

I'm a little nervous because I haven't run in the dark in quite some time. Well, I take that back. Part of my morning runs are in the dark, but the sun comes up pretty quickly. Wish me luck that a.) I don't totally biff it in the dark and b.) the run goes well!

I wanna come! That looks like hella fun!

And you'll do fine running in the dark. Get one of those nifty head lamps!!! I have one. Because I'm that cool.

Looks like fun! Sometimes those Garmin-less runs are the best. Enjoy!

Sometimes the best runs are when you're not focusing on the time. Glad you had a good one. 1 month to go :)
