I currently run in Saucony Kinvaras:
I like them well enough. I like having a light shoe and I've never had a problem with heel strike, so this is a good fit for me. I tend to run more on the balls of my feel than anything. However, it do tend to get blisters on the inside of my feet while wearing the Kinvaras. Maybe these shoes are not wide enough or I just have crappy feet. Or both.
So it's about that time for me to pick up another pair of shoes. The Kinvara now has a Kinvara2, which I'm contemplating. But I'm also thinking about trying a pair of Newtons:
Any of you guys tried this shoe before?? It's almost twice as expensive as the Kinvaras, that's why I'm a little hesitant.
Or, alternatively, which shoe is your go-to?

I'm a Kinvara fan and it's my go to shoe. I started with the Kinvara 1 but now I have the Kinvara 2 and I will say they seem to be more narrow than the orginals. I know they are coming out with the Kinvara 3 in May I think and they are going to have the option to get them in wide.
I have not tried the Newtons before. I do have the Brooks Pure Connect that I really like right now.
I usually wear New Balance or Adidas. But I bought some Saucony shoes at our Sports Authority outlet yesterday. Excited to try them out! They seem to have a lot more cushion than my others. I've never worn the Saucony brand before.
I think I have poor running strike. I wear the Brooks Adrenaline. And I like them.
I REALLY REALLY like the Newtons because of the colors. But then, I would worry about them getting dirty! :)
I've tried them all. haha. I think I'm sticking with Brooks from now on though. I had Saucony and really liked them too, they were a bit narrow for me though.
i like those new kinvara colors! I wear Mizunos and I like them a lot, but it's almost time for a new pair of running shoes :-)
I need new shoes too.
Someone said Brooks are like the bomb.com. so I'm going to try them out!
I'm currently in Asics Nimbus. I like them, but can't figure out my sizing. My feet swell SO MUCH on my long runs, that I feel like i have to be way up to find something that fits by the end of the run. And, until then, the shoes are flapping around, too loose.
